This is our 33rd Festival Exhibition and the jewellery exhibition is an established festival highlight. We travel worldwide sourcing beautiful handmade jewellery, both modern and traditional and We produce our own unique designer ranges. This year we feature show stopping necklaces from India as well as an unrivalled collection of unique earrings. The Galerie Mirages Designer Festival Collection will be showcased at this exhibition as well as a full range of turquoise, pearls, amber, lapis lazuli, ruby and modern designer jewellery from Poland, Belgium and Thailand.
For over 2,000 years Indian textiles have had a major influence on fashion in Europe, in the last 400 years they have inspired British design from the Paisley pattern to Liberty print. The gallery itself grew out of this Scottish/ Indian connection and it is our 33rd festival.
This selling exhibition is housed in a nineteenth century bakehouse and pays tribute to these stunning textiles. There are wonderful examples of blockprinting, embroidery and appliqué. We have personally sourced rare tribal embroideries, outstanding blockprinted spreads and quilts, jackets and shawls. If you love textiles this is an exhibition not to-be missed.
